Instructions for sharpening knives:
Pass the sharpener over the blade edge 2 to 4 times, applying light pressure. To smooth the blade edge, pass the sharpener over the blade edge 4 to 6 times, applying only very light pressure. The sharpening wheels of the sharpener have a preset sharpening angle, so it is not necessary to apply excessive pressure to the blade and sharpener, as this could cause damage.
