Muscle fatigue causes the foot to lengthen and widen in the metatarsal area. We took these factors into account when designing a new range of performance socks with the Sidas Matryx team athletes. Thanks to Ultra Fit technology, the Trail Ultra socks behave like an exoskeleton, which compensates for the effects of foot muscle fatigue during long trail runs.

The Trail Ultra sock includes all the features of a top-tier ultra trail sock: stronger compression around the heel and metatarsals, which limit injury and fatigue, combined with optimal breathability around the foot to prevent sweat build-up, and a wide toe box to support toe comfort.

Two anti-slip strips have been integrated into the sock to improve synergy between the sock and shoe (and insole), integrated reinforcement in the ankle area and In&Out construction for better fit and contact. Finally, use the reflective strip in the sock for better visibility when running at night.

The socks actively wick moisture and thanks to Polygiene technology effectively limit odour formation. This treatment, which uses naturally occurring silver salt microparticles, prevents the spread and growth of bacteria and reduces odour. The socks will stay fresh and last longer (guaranteed for a minimum of 100 washes). Polygiene fibres have been tested in laboratories and are completely safe for skin.
