Gelled denatured alcohol (ethanol-based). Burns completely without residue, odourless and soot-free. The paste is non-explosive, non-toxic and easy and safe to handle. Also suitable for various chafing dish holders. Ideal for lighting fires or preheating stoves and lamps. Short strips of fuel paste on petrol or paraffin stoves make lighting easier. Also suitable as a small stove (for example under a folding grill 052400 or in a hobo stove) or as a fire-lighting aid for wood.
