Family tunnel tent. It is an affordable combination of comfort, space, stability and easy assembly. This model is a generous spatial solution for large groups or family camping. The Tropiko tent is made from polyester with polyurethane coating, which guarantees a hydrostatic head of 4,000 mm. The seams are taped with a waterproof tape. The lining is made from nylon with polyurethane coating, which guarantees a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. The poles consist of galvanised steel segments with a diameter of 19 mm.

Description

The tent is double-walled and consists of an inner tent and an outer flysheet - the tropiko. The inner tent has a trapezoidal floor plan with an entrance on its longest side. The outer tent has a large porch, which can be entered via two different entrances.

Tent concept

It is based on the principle of a pole construction threaded through perforated tunnels outside the flysheet. The flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended beneath the flysheet) are assembled simultaneously after threading the poles through the tunnels. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be separated from the flysheet and then pitched independently, creating a single-walled tent without a floor.

Ventilation

Located at the top of the flysheet dome. The ventilation windows are shaped so that they do not lean in the wind. This prevents air loss even in heavy rain and wind.

Tent construction

The structural poles are pushed through perforated tunnels outside the flysheet and steel spikes are inserted into tubes at the end of the poles, which are threaded onto the flysheet floor. The inner tent is secured to loops on the inside of the flysheet. Once pitched, secure the tent with pegs and guy ropes and fasten with plastic clips.
