The main reason to choose the Hiker model is its built-in wind shield on the stove. This can make the difference between hot and cold food, especially in the mountains where wind often blows.

Other benefits of the Hiker stove are its low weight, good folding design and, not least, the supplied plastic case that protects it from damage during transport. The stove arms and burner are made from stainless steel. The base, which includes the valve and cartridge thread to EN 417, is made from anodised aluminium.
