Kartuša je napolnjena z mešanico plinov propan/butan/isobutan, ki zagotavljajo stalen tlak v kartuši tudi pri nizki temperaturi in hkrati zelo nizko vrednost uparjanja. Rezultat je, da je mešanico mogoče prižgati že pri temperaturi -40 °C.

Glede na višino se priporoča, da to kartušo opremite s stojalom, ki razširja njeno osnovo in povečuje stabilnost.
