Family tent with two bedrooms and the option to create a shelter by propping up the entrance section. The dome construction with four poles crossing at five points is also exceptionally sturdy and despite its size is very resistant to wind. The Tropico tent is made from polyester with polyurethane coating, which gives it a hydrostatic head of 4,000 mm. The seams are sealed with heat tape to prevent leakage. The lining is made from nylon with a polyurethane layer, which gives it a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. The poles consist of laminate segments with a diameter of 11 mm (main diagonal poles) and 9.5 mm (cross poles).

Description

The tent is double-walled and consists of two inner tents and an outer flysheet - the tropico. The inner tents have a trapezoidal floor plan with an entrance on the longest side. The outer tent has roughly a rectangular shape and two entrances, which can be propped up to create a canopy over the entrance. The tent concept is based on the principle of a pole construction threaded through sleeves of perforated material on the outer side of the canopy. After threading the poles through the sleeves, the flysheet and inner tents (which are suspended beneath the flysheet) are erected simultaneously. The advantage of this method is that the inner tents can be separated from the flysheet and the flysheet can then be erected independently, creating a single-walled tent.

Ventilation

Located at the top of the dome flysheet. The ventilation windows are shaped so they do not lean in the wind. This prevents air loss even in rain with strong wind.

Tent construction

Thread the construction poles through the perforated sleeves on the outer side of the flysheet and insert the steel spikes threaded on the flysheet floor into the tubes at the end of the poles. The inner tent is secured to loops on the inner side of the shelter. Anchor the erected tent with pegs and cords and secure with plastic clips.
