The company's aim is to create elegant, versatile and distinctive pocket knives that reflect your personal style. OCASO Solstice™ came from the design studio of Andrew Demko. Andrew Demko is a renowned American knife designer and custom knifemaker. Not only does he run his own knife company Demko knives, but he also collaborates on knife design and development for major knife brands, such as COLD STEEL. Solstice™ is a modern, discreet, lightweight folding knife for men. It is so light that it can be carried in a shirt or jacket front pocket next to a pen. The Solstice™ knife was made with great emphasis on craftsmanship and using first-rate materials. The handle is made from titanium. Titanium is an alloy of aluminium and other elements. Thanks to this material, the handle is sufficiently strong that there is no need to use additional steel handle liners. At the same time, it is highly resistant to corrosion. Due to the material used, the knife is very thin (knife body without clip 1 cm) and very light. The knife blade is made from first-rate S35VN steel. This exceptional American steel is not only very strong and durable, but can achieve excellent blade sharpness and the blade has a long service life. A very fine-grained powder steel with uniform microstructure offers very stable properties. It is resistant even with a very fine blade bevel, reliable, highly resistant to corrosion. It is a good choice for high-quality custom knives and tools. The CPM (pseudo-powder metallurgy) process guarantees a very homogeneous, high-quality steel structure, dimensional stability, good sharpening properties and strength compared to steels made by conventional methods. Despite lower chromium content, this steel exhibits very good results in terms of corrosion resistance. The stainless steel pocket clip is designed to sit deeper in the pocket and be discreet to those around you. Opening with the flipper is made easy by the pronounced flipper on the back of the knife.
