The NUM'AXES PIE1048 trail camera takes photos and videos with sound by day and by night. The invisible infrared illumination with a wavelength of 940 nm does not scare animals, and the rugged IP66-rated construction handles use in all weathers.

Tips for positioning the trail camera

• Mount the trail camera at a height of approx. 1.5 – 2 m and point it slightly downwards.
• Face it north or south, not east or west – the rising and setting sun can cause false triggers and overexposed images.
• If you are monitoring a path, point the trail camera along it, not perpendicular to it.
• Remove bushes and weeds in front of the trail camera. Their movement and temperature changes in front of the lens can cause false triggers, especially in windy weather.
