Cultivated pine

Completely natural tinder, chemical-free with resin content up to 80%. Our fatwood comes from pine stumps. These pines are cultivated and do not occupy rainforest areas. They are non-endangered species, which means we obtain a product that is sustainable, economically viable and environmentally responsible. By utilising stumps we reduce overall waste whilst creating a sustainable and safe by-product. Verified to SCS Salvaged Wood & Fiber™ standard for use of 100% reclaimed material.

END OF LIFE

End of life is the final phase in the cycle of ecological design. Our aim is to manufacture products that offer long life and support reuse. Two factors that make sustainability a key part of what we do. However, if a product reaches the end of its life, we are here to guide and support our customers in disposing of our products in the best possible way. We recommend that you explore the recycling system available at your local centre and make an informed decision based on the information we provide and the information from the recycling facility in your area. You will find a complete report on each product including its material composition and how to dispose of it responsibly on our materials pages. Together we can make the right decisions based on open communication and understanding.
