The back of the knife blade is sharpened to create a precise angle, whilst ensuring that every strike of the fire steel produces the maximum sharp sparks.

The Swedish knife is a combination of quality and functionality. The handle is made from a blend of bioplastics, which creates a beautiful texture and design. The Sandvik blade boasts stainless steel that is 80% recycled.

Fire is created with the help of this combination of knife and fire steel very simply. Simply scrape the striker against the knife, from which friction ignites small fragments. These then transform into oxides, which generates high-temperature sparks.
