Footwear designed for light to moderate hiking and walking.

The upper is made from highly breathable materials, which reduces foot perspiration in higher outdoor temperatures.

The lining is made from the proven material Gore-Tex Extended Comfort Footwear, which guarantees 100% waterproofing, so wet grass or the occasional splash through a puddle need not result in soaked boots.

Vibram Track sole combines good traction with material resistance to abrasion.

CLEANING

Before further use, clean the footwear of dust, mud and other dirt using a soft brush and mild soap.

You can then dry the footwear, ideally in a warm and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. If the footwear is exposed to extreme heat, deformation of the boots, separation of insoles and overall degradation of all materials may occur.

Once dry, the boots can be stuffed with dry newspaper (but not glossy paper), which quickly absorbs internal moisture. However, this paper should be changed frequently to prevent blistering caused by moisture.

PROOFING

After the footwear has completely dried - and we strongly recommend that internal removable insoles are regularly washed or at least dried - the footwear can be proofed either with a spray (which must absolutely contain a nourishing ingredient for leather) or using other special solutions in the form of suspensions, gels, etc.

When applying products, always follow the instructions given on the packaging; under no circumstances should you ever apply proofing to the inside of the boots, to the soles or to other rubber or synthetic rubber parts.

Renew the proofing whenever darker patches appear on the upper after walking in wet conditions, indicating that moisture has already soaked in.

Never use cream or wax-based proofing on the footwear; these products would have a devastating effect on the suede leather used and would fundamentally affect the breathability of the boots.
