During protection work on the training ground, when carrying your dog on mountain hikes and during rehabilitation, you want to hold your dog firmly and safely. The K9 Thorn One SS harness gives you two attachment points for this, which you will also appreciate when getting your dog used to heights and being lifted. It closes with ITW Nexus buckles.
Waterproof base and air under the harness
The frame is sewn onto waterproof Cordura; underneath it is complemented by spacer mesh that lets air flow better, making the harness more comfortable to wear. The straps are made of polyamide: they resist weather, do not lose their colour, do not wear or fray with normal use, and their ends are heat-sealed. The ITW Nexus buckles withstand 70 kg per buckle before breaking.
Ready for lifting, gear on MOLLE
During transport, you clip straps onto the side D-rings to relieve the dog's hind limbs. These straps are not part of the harness – you can buy them separately for lifting training. Gear attaches to the MOLLE system: size M offers 3 slots, size L 4. Warning: if you are facing rope transport or a parachute jump, do not use this harness – choose a model with Cobra buckles instead.
