Specification
On patrol, a dog changes direction in a split second, and a harness that twists or restricts it takes control away from you. The K9 Thorn Delta harness is a patrol and training harness that does not twist, moves with the dog and can be adjusted precisely to its build. Because it is thoroughly thought out and easy to adjust, you can use it for a wide range of tasks.
Freedom of movement without losing control
The chest straps meet at a D-ring, so the harness works with the dog when it turns its body and does not restrict its movement. At the same time, it is designed not to twist – you always have the dog fully under control. An additional Cobra buckle on the chest makes putting it on quicker and easier, and the lower strap has a loop through which you can thread a tracking line.
One-handed clipping
You clip the lead into the curved, black-anodised aluminium V-ring with a strength of 20 kN – without the help of your other hand and with any carabiner, including a Kong Frog quickdraw. The Cobra buckles from Austrialpin withstand 18 kN in a loop and 9 kN at break; their body is made of 7075 aluminium, the pins and clamping bar of stainless steel, the clamps of brass. The Austrialpin adjuster made of aircraft-grade aluminium has a strength of 15 kN and the Pa6 polyamide straps 20 kN (2000 kg). Under the harness there is structural mesh, which makes it easier for the dog to breathe and more comfortable to wear.
