Imori is Japanese shorthand for the alpine newt.
- Shinogi Zukuri style without fuller (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from high-carbon 1045 steel
- The blade is sharpened to a fine edge with a Hamon line for an authentic appearance.
- Handle wrapping in blue cotton in the classic Hineri Maki style.
- Black, lacquered wooden scabbard (Kuroro style).
- The tanto can be completely disassembled.
- No plastic is used, only high-quality, original materials.
- The blade collar (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) are made from brass.
- The traditional handle wrapping is backed with genuine ray skin leather.
- All decorations (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are made from metal.
- Supplied in a protective fabric pouch and in a beautiful collector's box.
- Each original John Lee sword has a seal and certificate.
