A light two-person tent from the Ultralight range for cyclists and trekkers. Husky Sawaj 2 weighs just 2.2 kg with all its accessories — the weight was brought down by silicone-coating the flysheet on both sides. This free-standing double-wall tent with an internal frame gives two people a comfortable refuge on multi-day lightweight trips.
Free-standing aluminium frame
The 8.5 mm aluminium poles and lightweight aluminium pegs keep the tent stable even in bad weather, and thanks to the free-standing frame you can pitch it where pegs are hard to drive in. Packed, the tent measures only 43 × 15 cm, so it fits into a bike pannier or the side pocket of a rucksack.
Silicone-coated ripstop nylon with a ripstop grid
The ripstop nylon flysheet has silicone coating on both sides and a 3,000 mm H₂O water column; the ripstop grid stops any tear before it spreads. The breathable nylon inner tent with mosquito mesh carries moisture away, and the PU-coated nylon groundsheet has a 10,000 mm H₂O water column. The fabric has enhanced UV protection.

✓ Pros: a weight of 2.2 kg including accessories, a minimal packed size, silicone coating on both sides with UV protection, a free-standing frame, a ripstop weave that stops tears spreading, a storage pocket.
✗ Cons: the 120 cm height does not let you stand up, there is no free-standing vestibule, the thin ultralight fabrics need careful handling, and the 230 cm length is borderline for taller people.
