LIMIT TEMPERATURE is the figure that according to the current standard indicates the lower temperature limit at which under normal conditions a standard man (25 years old, 70 kg, 173 cm) in a curled position in a sleeping bag will not feel cold.
EXTREME TEMPERATURE is the current standard that indicates you should be careful. You cannot talk about comfortable sleep here; do not select a sleeping bag based on this temperature. If this temperature is exceeded, a standard woman (25 years old, 60 kg, 160 cm) may catch a cold at best, or at worst serious health damage may occur.
