A family tunnel tent you can stand up in. Husky Baul 4 is a double-wall tunnel tent with an external frame of reinforced durawrap poles, a large detachable bedroom for four and a spacious 190 cm high vestibule. It is built for longer camping trips with the family or a group of friends — and if you have a car with you, it also works as a shelter on paddling and cycling trips.
Tunnel frame and quick pitching
The tunnel frame of reinforced 11 mm durawrap poles pitches quickly and easily — the poles slide into sleeves along the whole length and the tent takes shape all at once. Durawrap is more flexible and more durable than fibreglass and does not splinter into sharp ends that could damage the fabric if it breaks. A steel peg set anchors the tent reliably.
A vestibule for cooking and a detachable bedroom
An adult can stand comfortably in the 190 cm high vestibule: you can store all your luggage there and cook in it when the weather turns. The large bedroom can be detached to turn the tent into one big shelter. The 185T polyester flysheet has a PU coating with a 3,000 mm H₂O water column and taped seams, and the detachable groundsheet is laminated polyethylene.

✓ Pros: a weight of 8.5 kg is low for a family tent of this size, a 190 cm high vestibule you can cook in, a detachable bedroom and groundsheet, quick pitching of the tunnel frame, taped seams.
✗ Cons: the tunnel frame is not free-standing — it will not stand without being pegged out, one entrance, the 3,000 mm water column is the lowest in the Husky range, the steel pegs are heavier than aluminium ones.
