Husky Bizam 2 Plus with Blackroom technology is a free-standing double-wall tent from the Outdoor range whose inner tent has a special blackout finish — neither the first rays of sun nor bright moonlight will wake you before you want to get up. Blackroom — a perfectly darkened bedroom

The special finish on the inner tent holds light back, so you can sleep in comfortably well after sunrise. It suits anyone who goes to bed late, travels with children or camps in summer on an open pitch with no shade. The blackout layer also keeps the bedroom from overheating during the day.

Durawrap frame and a 4,000 mm water column

The 8.5 mm durawrap poles are flexible and, unlike fibreglass, do not splinter into sharp ends that could damage the fabric if they break; a steel peg set anchors the tent reliably. The polyester flysheet has a polyurethane coating with a 4,000 mm H₂O water column and taped seams, and the PU-coated groundsheet has a 7,000 mm H₂O water column.

Pros and cons of the Husky Bizam 2 Plus Black Coating

✓ Pros: a Blackroom darkened bedroom for undisturbed sleep, less overheating of the bedroom during the day, a higher water column than in the Classic range, flexible durawrap poles, taped seams.

✗ Cons: the blackout finish adds 1.5 kg compared with the standard Bizam 2 Plus, the 145 cm width is tight for two adults with gear, the 120 cm height does not let you stand up, and the steel pegs are heavier than aluminium ones.
