The women's Gunfighter is a low-profile tactical softshell.
It was created for women in service and in the field, for whom discretion matters as much as protection from bad weather.
At first glance it is an ordinary outdoor jacket. The real purpose of the Gunfighter jacket is revealed only by its construction details.
SharkSkin is an elastic 4-way stretch softshell material
It stretches in four directions, so it lets you change position freely and work in tight spaces without a feeling of stiffness or the material pulling. SharkSkin stays quiet while you move, which matters where discretion and control over every movement count.
The Windblocker membrane effectively protects from wind and light rain
The jacket keeps breathability at 8000 g/m²/24h, which means it moves moisture away briskly during activity and maintains thermal comfort.
The outer layer is protected by a water-repellent finish
It increases resistance to dirt and to moisture penetration. Thanks to this the jacket is simpler to care for and keeps its properties longer.
Helikon-Tex gave the jacket solutions that let you adapt it to a changing pace of action.
Cuff adjustment
Elastic hook-and-loop cuffs let you fit the sleeves precisely to the wrists and limit draughts without losing freedom of hand work.
Reinforced elbows
Helikon-Tex reinforced the zones exposed to friction with an extra layer of material. This increases the jacket's durability with no effect on elasticity and comfort at work.
Hood stowed in the collar
The integrated hood stowed in the stand-up collar protects from wind and cold, and once deployed it adapts to a cap and to the weather.
Underarm ventilation
Zippered mesh openings let you quickly increase airflow and release excess heat and moisture during greater effort.
A layer of soft fleece on the inside improves thermal comfort and does not restrict breathability.
Helikon-Tex gave the Gunfighter seven functional pockets with work on the move and fast access to gear in mind.
You have every item within reach, with no collision with a belt or gear. The two-way main YKK® zipper additionally makes it easier to reach equipment carried on the belt without unnecessary movement.
Front pockets
They provide fast access to the most frequently used items. They do not collide with backpack straps, a vest or a tactical belt.
Internal pockets
Two pockets let you safely store documents, a phone or other sensitive pieces of gear.
Sleeve pockets
They have cable ports that let you route wires under the jacket without tangling while you move.
Forearm pocket
It is meant for small first-need accessories, for example an access card or an ID badge.
On the arms you will find hook-and-loop panels for personalizing the jacket.
