The Wolfhound Hoodie is a lightweight, warm, compact jacket for everyday wear.
Climashield® Apex insulation keeps you warm even when wet
Unlike down, synthetic-fibre insulation keeps warming even when wet and does not clump. The jacket can be machine washed. The 67 g/m² insulation is light, efficient, breathable, and also compresses well. It works as a standalone layer at lower temperatures and as an insulation layer under a hardshell in tougher conditions.
WindPack Nylon protects against wind
A lightweight, quick-drying fabric that shields you from the chilling effect of wind. It thus improves thermal comfort during halts and at lower movement intensity.
The outer layer is protected by a hydrophobic coating
It increases resistance to dirt and moisture penetration. Thanks to this, the jacket is easier to maintain and retains its properties longer.
Freedom of movement thanks to VersaStretch
Elastic panels under the arms increase mobility during dynamic activity. The jacket stays in place and does not restrict the body's natural work.
Every detail in the jacket's construction answers a real need of use in the field.
Protection against draughts
The elastic binding at the cuffs and at the jacket's hem helps seal the whole construction.
Ergonomic hood
The adjustable hood with elastic binding protects the head against wind and light rain.
Two-way main zipper
It makes it easier to reach gear carried on the belt and helps with ventilation.
Helikon-Tex designed the Wolfhound for quick access to everyday gear
The four pockets close with sturdy YKK® zippers, which secure the contents on the move and during halts. The pocket layout lets you reach for your gear without taking off your backpack.
Side pockets
Positioned so that they also work with a backpack's hip belt.
Internal pocket
A secure place for documents, a wallet, or more sensitive accessories.
Chest pocket
For a phone, a small notepad, or a map – everything you want at hand.
On the shoulders you will find hook-and-loop panels for personalizing the jacket.
