The Windrunner is an ultralight emergency anorak-type jacket for wind and changeable weather.
WindPack Nylon protects against wind
A lightweight, breathable fabric that shields you from the chilling effect of wind. Thanks to this, the jacket retains warmth longer during halts and in moments of lower activity.
The self-pack system
Once folded, you pack the jacket into its own chest pocket, which serves as a stuff sack. In this form it takes up minimal space and fits easily into a backpack, a bag, or even a trouser pocket.
The outer layer is protected by a DWR hydrophobic coating
Durable Water Repellency increases resistance to dirt, limits how much the fabric soaks up, and slows moisture penetration. Thanks to this, the product is easier to maintain and retains its properties longer.

Ergonomic hood
The adjustable drawcord hood protects the head against wind and light precipitation.
Underarm ventilation
Mesh vent openings support breathability and release excess heat when your movement becomes more intense.
Cuff and hem adjustment
Cuffs with sewn-in elastic and a drawcord at the hem let you seal the jacket up and provide better thermoregulation.
Helikon-Tex designed the Windrunner with simplicity in mind
The half-zip construction reduced the number of seams and unnecessary elements – which made it possible to bring the Windrunner's weight down to a minimum. The jacket works as a standalone jacket in warmer conditions and as an outer windproof layer worn over a hoodie or a light insulating layer in spring, summer, and early autumn.

Helikon-Tex used proven YKK® zippers, which guarantee smooth operation and high durability even with frequent packing and intensive use in the field.
Pass-through pocket
A large zippered front pocket gives quick access to the things you need most.
