The Trooper Mk2 is a lightweight, fast-drying softshell for dynamic work in the field.
StormStretch is a light, durable softshell material with high abrasion resistance
It stretches in two directions, so it keeps its shape and does not restrict the body's natural work while marching or changing position. The fabric effectively shields from wind and light rain, does not soak up moisture from the surroundings and dries very quickly.
The outer layer is protected by a water-repellent finish
It increases resistance to dirt and to moisture penetration. Thanks to this the jacket is simpler to care for and keeps its properties longer.
The Trooper Mk2 works as an outer layer over light insulation while marching with a backpack.
Ergonomic hood
The integrated, adjustable hood with a brim stays stowed in the collar, does not restrict movement and protects from wind and light precipitation.
Ventilation mesh
It sits inside the pockets and under the arms. It helps move excess heat away during intensive movement.
Cuff and hem adjustment
Hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and the drawcord at the hem let you fit the jacket and keep thermal comfort.
Extended back
The extended cut prevents the material from riding up, covers the lower back and keeps the jacket in place while bending and working on the move.
Helikon-Tex created the Trooper Mk2 jacket with simplicity and effectiveness in mind.
It left out unnecessary pockets, which added weight and slowed the material's drying. It kept four functional pockets that genuinely support what you do.
Chest pockets
They have micro-pockets that organize small EDC and give fast, secure access to a phone, keys or a wallet.
Sleeve pockets
Pockets placed on the arms let you carry small accessories and identification items.
Two-way YKK® zippers
Zippers that open from the top and the bottom let you regulate access and use the jacket comfortably under a vest or gear.
Panels for personalization
Hook-and-loop panels on the arms let you personalize the jacket: add a flag, a unit emblem or a morale patch.
The Trooper Mk2 was designed to work naturally with the Trooper trousers.
Together they form a set for work on the move: light, fast-drying and resistant to changing conditions. A uniform concept of cut and materials translates into freedom of action, also under load, and into a discreet look in the field and in the city.
