The Summit is a light outdoor backpack with a rolltop system, designed with mountain hikes, climbing and bivouacs in mind.
A construction resistant to intensive use
It withstands frequent packing, transport of gear and contact with the ground. Helikon-Tex sewed the product from Cordura® 500D, which increases resistance to abrasion and damage. The material is covered with a DWR finish, which limits soaking and makes cleaning easier. It also used YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, which work reliably even under heavy load and in changing temperatures.
A comfortable carrying system stabilizes the load
The backpack got comfortable, adjustable, quick-release straps that let you fit the backpack to your body and to layers of clothing. The ribbed foam on the back panel, covered with spacer mesh, improves ventilation and increases comfort during intensive effort. Extra load stabilization, particularly on the move, comes from the chest strap and the removable hip belt, which improves weight distribution with a heavier load.
A 42-litre capacity, an ultralight construction and thought-through organization mean the Summit will not slow your trip down.
Helikon-Tex designed the backpack for trekking, climbing and long routes in demanding terrain. The slim construction makes moving on technical trails easier, and the rolltop system lets you fit the size of the backpack to the amount of gear you carry.
