The Patriot Mk2 is a hybrid tactical fleece that gives thermal comfort and mobility.
A warm fleece with a tactical purpose
Helikon-Tex designed the Patriot in the Mk2 version with tactical users in mind, who value warmth, function and an ergonomic cut that supports mobility. By using a hybrid knit it combined these demands with the low weight of the fleece.
Hybrid Fleece is warmth and breathability in one
The Patriot Mk2 is sewn entirely from Hybrid Fleece with a weight of 340 g/m², which lowers the weight and improves breathability while keeping warmth parameters close to classic thick tactical fleeces. On the outside the fabric has a uniform structure, while the inner side is grid fleece.
Breathable Grid Fleece on the inside
It is a soft fleece knit with a box structure. Such an arrangement of the material lets warmth be held in the zones that touch the body and at the same time makes it easier to move moisture and excess heat outwards. The result is very good thermoregulation while keeping the weight low.
The Patriot Mk2 answers the needs of demanding tactical users
The Patriot fleece in the Mk2 version combines lower weight with breathability and an ergonomic cut. In addition, laser-cut hook-and-loop panels allow personalization and organization of gear: they have slots for pens and openings for clipping on small accessories.
Ergonomic cut
The fleece fits the body, does not restrict movement and works well with other layers of clothing.
A fitted hood
The hood, adjustable with drawcords, with a high collar and a soft brim, protects well from wind and cold.
Hem adjustment and a two-way zipper
The drawcords at the hem let you fit the fleece to your body and to thermal conditions. The two-way zipper gives brisk access to gear carried on the belt.
Underarm vents
Ventilation zippers and sewn-in mesh let you quickly regulate body temperature during dynamic work in the field.
The Patriot Mk2 got eight functional pockets with fast access to EDC in mind.
Chest pockets
Two roomy pockets for documents, a phone or gear that must always be within reach. They close with YKK® zippers.
Hip pockets
They increase comfort and freedom of use. They close with YKK® zippers covered by a flap.
Sleeve pockets
They hold small pieces of gear. They close with YKK® zippers.
Internal pockets
Two deep mesh pockets. They are ideal for drying gloves, a cap or a neck gaiter.
