The Groundhog is a compact backpack that performs on hikes and in the city.
A construction resistant to intensive use
It withstands frequent packing, carrying heavier gear and contact with the ground. Helikon-Tex sewed the product from nylon in Ripstop weave, which strengthens the fabric structure. Thanks to this any damage to the material does not spread further. It also used YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, which work reliably even under heavy load and in changing temperatures. The whole was covered with a DWR finish, which further limits soaking of the material and makes cleaning easier.
A comfortable carrying system
Helikon-Tex gave the backpack comfortable, adjustable straps that let you fit it to your build and to layers of clothing. Additional stabilization of the load, particularly during movement, is provided by the chest strap and the hip belt, which improves weight distribution with a heavier load.
The backpack received features that let you adapt it to various uses.
Mesh pass-through pockets
They are placed on the sides. You can conveniently carry a bottle or a thermos in them.
A beavertail pocket
Thanks to the elastic pocket stowed in the base of the backpack you can carry a helmet, a jacket or an extra layer of clothing.
MOLLE Lite webbing
It lets you expand the backpack with extra pockets or pieces of gear.
Room for a hydration bladder
A dedicated space lets you use a hydration system comfortably while on the move.
Compression straps stabilize the contents and keep the backpack close to your back during movement.
