The second generation Fenix LD02 torch is extremely small yet powerful – it offers a light output of up to 70 lumens (ANSI). It is fitted with a powerful Cree XQ-E LED with a warmer colour tone and CRI (Colour Rendering Index) of 90, which renders colours perfectly. Additionally, it is fitted with an ultraviolet LED with a wavelength of 365 nm. Ultraviolet light (abbreviation UV from the English ultraviolet) allows for quick verification of the authenticity of documents, banknotes, payment cards, and also serves to check cleanliness or material quality or for forensic analysis at a crime scene. The torch is not much larger than a micro battery (AAA battery) from which it is powered. The head and tail cap of the torch are made from stainless steel. The LD02 has three different brightness levels and one UV mode, which allows users to choose the appropriate compromise between light intensity and runtime. The Fenix LD02 uses commonly available micro batteries and thanks to its negligible size and weight is ideal for everyday use (Everyday Carry – EDC). Use of Fenix LD02 torch

• To turn on, press the switch located at the end of the torch.
• With the torch on, you can change power modes at any time by pressing the button (they cycle through: low – medium – high – UV).
• Overheat protection – after 3 minutes of operation at maximum power, the torch switches to the second mode.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed section in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only quality micro batteries to prevent damage to the torch, for example due to battery leakage.
• Remove batteries from the torch if you will not be using it for a long time, or if the battery is already discharged.
• Insert the battery with the positive pole facing towards the torch head.
• If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them.
• The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion.
• By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch flashes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: Batteries are almost discharged – replace them. The torch head is loose, tighten it. Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cloth dampened in alcohol.
