When you need to protect your hearing during training or on duty and communicate over the radio at the same time, ordinary earmuffs are not enough. The Earmor M32 PLUS are electronic hearing protection earmuffs with a boom microphone. They limit gunshot noise to a safe 82 dB, amplify quiet ambient sounds and connect to a radio via a cable with a NATO connector. The 2024 model features new silicone gel ear cushions and a headband you can remove quickly and easily.
Radio connection
The cable ends in a connector to the NATO military standard. The earmuffs connect to a radio via an optional PTT module, which is not included; according to the manufacturer, they work with Earmor PTT modules. The microphone boom can be mounted on either the right or the left side, so the earmuffs suit both right- and left-handed users.
Protection and situational awareness
Two well-protected directional microphones on the ear cups let you pinpoint where a sound is coming from. Dynamic voice tracking improves speech clarity, and the enhanced resistance to radio interference matters especially when working with a radio. The low-profile ear cups stay out of the way when you shoulder your firearm. The battery compartment is waterproof, with a metal cover and silicone straps, and the button is protected against accidental shut-off. After 4 hours without use, the earmuffs switch off automatically.
