Waterproof socks are ideal for hiking, cycling, work around the house – simply everywhere you want to keep your feet dry and warm. Because they are waterproof and windproof, they are considerably warmer than ordinary socks. This is enhanced by the inner Coolmax® layer with added silver ions, which is antibacterial, wicks moisture and dries quickly.

We use the socks in trail running boots on mountain passes in cold weather and in winter, which we would often not dare to do in traditional socks. They are also excellent in wet terrain and rain. When hiking, we can avoid blisters from long walks with wet feet. Despite their waterproofing, the socks still have good breathability.

Washing

• The socks can be washed in a washing machine with ordinary detergent on a gentle cycle at a maximum temperature of 40 °C or by hand.

Drying

• The socks must not be dried in direct heat from a source such as a fireplace or radiator, but only near one. Allow the socks to dry by dripping. First allow them to dry from the inside, then turn them over and dry the outside. Do not wring the socks.
