The SR1 Lite from COLD STEEL is a folding knife with a plain blade. The SR1 is a truly robust folding knife that can handle even the toughest tasks. Its highly durable 4.8 mm Tanto Point blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel. This stainless steel has very good strength properties and is equivalent to AUS 8A steel. The handle is made from Griv-Ex™ material. This is a handle material with unique properties and is significantly stronger than Zy-Ex. The handle is reinforced with 1 mm thick steel liners. The material is not subject to moisture, temperature changes or deformation. The deep texture offers excellent anti-slip properties for the handle. This knife is equipped with a lock featuring the unique Cold Steel® Tri-Ad Lock™ patent. The lock prevents accidental or unintentional closure of the knife even after natural wear over time.
