The Cold Steel Spartan is a large folding knife whose blade is inspired by the ancient Greek kopis sword. This version has a fully serrated edge that makes short work of rope, webbing and fibrous materials. The blade is made of Japanese AUS10A stainless steel and the handle of Griv-Ex with steel liners. The open blade is secured by the Tri-Ad Lock, one of the strongest locks found on production folding knives.
