The Kukri machete is a stylish machete inspired by the legendary Kukri machete of the Nepalese Gurkhas. However, it is a highly effective working tool with excellent strength properties, designed for chopping. The blade with Full tang construction is made from 1055 carbon steel with an anti-corrosion black surface finish. 1055 steel is a steel with a high carbon content. Due to the carbon content and low alloy content, this shallow-hardened steel is a very strong material that is not prone to brittleness. The handle is made from high-pressure injection-moulded polypropylene, which makes it almost indestructible. In the world there are very few knives of which it can be said with certainty that they are universally known as highly effective weapons. The Gurkhas use the Kukri knife to this day and in their hands it becomes a dangerous tool. This machete is a more affordable version of our Gurkha Kukri machete. The Kukri machete is very well suited to work, to chopping hard objects and thanks to the Full tang construction and durable ergonomic polypropylene handle it is resistant to damage. It comes with a very durable Cor-Ex™ holster.
