A more affordable variant of the Tanto knife. The knife is made from Japanese stainless steel AUS8A. The steel is primarily known as a cutting steel with excellent properties and the blade is highly resistant to bending or breaking. To improve performance, the blade spine thickness is reinforced and the edge runs through the entire handle (full tang construction). The handle has a slim profile and is designed to fit the hand as well as possible and prevent twisting. The handle is made from Long Kray-Ex™ material, which is a soft and flexible synthetic polymer. The Kobun comes supplied with a sheath.
