Perfectly balanced long combat knife Drop Forged Wasp is forged from a single piece of high-carbon steel 52100. This is a high-carbon steel that is excellent for hunting and outdoor fixed-blade knives. It is often used for bespoke fixed-blade knife manufacture where toughness and wear resistance in extreme conditions are required. Alloyed steel type 52100 is used primarily for the manufacture of aircraft bearings and other highly stressed components. The steel contains approximately 1.0% carbon, holds an edge well and is exceptionally tough. The blade and knife body are coated with a layer that protects the knife from corrosion. This coating has a rough structure and therefore also provides a non-slip grip when held. The knife blade is sharpened on both sides. Because of this, the knife is a very effective self-defence tool. The full-tang Drop Forged construction makes the knife practically indestructible. The knife comes with a Secure-Ex sheath that protects both you and the blade. The importer provides an extended 5-year warranty on this knife.
