Code 4 knives are exceptionally lightweight folding knives. The knife handle is made from aluminium, which gives the knife exceptional strength properties. The package also includes a belt clip for carrying on the left side. The knife opens using a two-sided thumb stud. This is an everyday carry knife and comes in three blade variants (Clip pt., Spear pt., Tanto pt.) The knife blade is made from CPM-S5VN steel. This exceptional American steel is not only very hard and durable, but can achieve excellent sharpness and the blade then has a long lifespan. A very fine-grained powder steel with uniform microstructure offers very stable properties. It is resistant even with a very fine blade bevel, reliable and highly corrosion-resistant. It is a good choice for high-quality custom knives and tools. The CPM process (pseudo-powder metallurgy) guarantees a very homogeneous, high-quality steel structure, dimensional stability, good sharpening ability and strength compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Despite lower chromium content, this steel exhibits very good corrosion resistance results. The handle is made from 6061 aluminium. Aluminium alloy 6061 is one of the most commonly used aluminium alloys in the 6000 series. It is a universal heat-treatable wrought alloy with medium to high strength. This knife is equipped with a lock featuring the unique patented Cold Steel® Tri-Ad Lock™. The lock prevents accidental or unintentional closure of the knife even after natural wear over time.
