Bushman and Bowie Bushman knives are survival knives for extreme conditions. They are particularly appreciated by outdoor and bushcraft enthusiasts. The blade and handle are forged from a single piece with no joints. The knife is made from high-carbon steel SK-5 with subsequent heat treatment to a hardness of RC 54. The knife withstood a load test of more than two tonnes of pressure at the blade-to-handle junction. Each Bushman knife has an anti-corrosion surface treatment and is hand-sharpened to an exceptionally sharp edge. Into their hollow handle you can insert a purchased or improvised carabiner with a single-sided sharpened spear. Two blade shapes are available, standard and Bowie. Both have a curved blade, which is ideal for skinning, cutting techniques and a range of bushcraft activities. Both come with a Secure-Ex sheath, which contains a Fire Steel Ferrocerium lighter.
