Black Talon is a continuation of the original version, which generated considerable controversy due to its unique shape and devastating effect. The blade of the new Black Talon knife is made from stainless steel S35VN. This exceptional American steel is not only very strong and durable, but can achieve outstanding sharpness and the blade has a long service life. A very fine-grained powder steel with uniform microstructure offers very stable properties. It is resistant even with a very fine blade bevel, reliable and highly corrosion-resistant. It is a good choice for high-quality custom knives and tools. The CPM (Crucible Particle Metallurgy) process guarantees a very homogeneous, high-quality steel structure, dimensional stability, good sharpening characteristics and strength compared with steels produced by conventional methods. Despite lower chromium content, this steel exhibits very good corrosion resistance results. The handle of Black Talon knives is made from G-10 material – glass fibre. The handle surface has a rough texture and does not slip even in sweaty or wet hands. This range of knives is also equipped with the unique Cold Steel® Tri-Ad Lock™ patent. The lock prevents accidental or unintentional closure of the knife even after natural wear over time.
