The Voyager ski touring helmet is designed to meet strict ISMF regulations, and therefore meets certifications for mountaineering (EN 12492) and alpine skiing (EN 1077/B). Dual certification guarantees greater safety in side impacts and better protects the skier's head. To meet the strict EN 1077/B certification standard, In-Mold construction is used with an extremely hard and impact-resistant ABS plastic shell. The inner core is made from expanded polystyrene (EPS), which is further reinforced with a layer of polycarbonate (PC) to help absorb impacts and increase durability. To ensure maximum breathability, 17 vents are positioned in the shell. The helmet can be fine-tuned using the supplied padding (5 mm and 10 mm) to fit precisely on your head, and thanks to removable ear covers and an adjustment dial, it can be adapted to your current needs as a downhill, ski touring or climbing helmet. With these accessories, the Voyager helmet is an excellent helmet for all types of skiing. Mounts for a head torch or ski goggles are of course included, which will keep your accessories exactly in place. The system for attaching accessories to the helmet is simple even with gloves on and without needing to remove the helmet. Voyager is also equipped with the RECCO® system, which allows you to detect a signal from a lost or buried person using a RECCO® receiver board. NOTE: this system does not replace a conventional avalanche transceiver.
