The unique wide shape of the HMS Core Belay Lock carabiner is characterised by a high internal height, excellent rope throughput and, thanks to its new construction with a screw-lock, maximum ease of one-handed operation. The Core Belay Lock carabiner has an internal integrated lock that holds the rope and carabiner in the correct position and prevents it from rotating. The SphereLock surface treatment of the carabiner nose and lock for increased strength under load is of course standard. To increase safety, the carabiner lock is laser-etched to indicate whether the lock is sufficiently screwed shut.
