The innovative CAMP Ares Mips work helmet is a clear step forward in safety at the highest possible level in the event of a potential head injury when working at height. The Ares Mips helmet was developed in collaboration between C.A.M.P and Swedish safety company MIPS.

The Mips safety system is based on low-friction layer technology, which is positioned between the head and helmet. In certain angled impacts, the Mips safety system allows multidirectional movement in the range of 10 - 15 mm, thereby reducing rotational forces transmitted to the head. Advanced computer simulations of the brain performed at MIPS headquarters showed that the Mips Safety System reduces the level of brain strain during impacts at various impact angles that were tested. Brain strain is one of the main factors in concussion symptoms and brain injury.

The Mips Safety System is widely used in motorsports and downhill racing.

In addition to many safety features, the CAMP Ares Mips helmet is also very comfortable and is equipped with all functions for maximum functionality. The robust shell is made from a blend of ABS and polycarbonate. The vertical position of the internal fastening system can be adjusted at the front and rear. For quick and simple adjustment, the Ares helmet uses a drawcord wheel, which is easily operated with one hand. For use of the helmet during ground operations, the chin strap can be easily removed. The buckle on the chin strap is designed with a safety release mechanism for pull-off from 15 to 25 kg. The Ares Mips helmet is equipped with attachment points for installation of ear protection, visor and head torch. No metal is used in the construction to prevent corrosion or conductivity problems. The helmet is available in several colours and in one universal size.
