Heat is generated by glowing wooden charcoal sticks. The sticks ignite (from both sides when really cold) and radiate heat through the container. Use vigorous physical activity to ensure the container cannot open. Turn to a pocket warmer when warm hands are not enough! The smell of burning wooden charcoal is not a problem. The containers are lined with glass fibres – NOT asbestos! The package includes 1 stick.
