Ballistol 70g weapon grease is intended as a universal lubricant for metals. Grease has been used for weapon maintenance for decades. The lubricant, free of resins and acids, lubricates all moving metal parts and protects them from corrosion. Compression pistons of air pistols can also be lubricated with grease. The grease is chemically neutral towards all materials. This means that all parts can be lubricated with grease without hesitation. White grease, such as that from Ballistol, contains no preservatives or other chemical additives. Because of this, Ballistol grease is very compatible. Ballistol grease consists of a mixture of wax and paraffin. Highly refined paraffins are designated as white grade. Ballistol grease corresponds to this property. Yellow grease is less pure and contains aromatic hydrocarbons.
