Use morning and evening so that Doping stays on your skin as long as possible. Ideal after a shower, when your pores are open and your skin is clean, but you can simulate this environment with, for example, a hot towel wrap (the old-fashioned hot towel method), or at worst by rinsing with warm water.

PRO TIP: Conscientious individuals can exfoliate any remaining dead skin before application, so Doping will absorb even better.

Once you've got this sorted, pump 3 to 6 times directly onto the skin where you need to support growth. Onto the skin means onto the skin, not onto your beard or into your hand. Just grab the bottle, guide the nozzle right to the skin and pump. Don't worry, Doping has a cream consistency, so it holds fine and doesn't run. Then just rub everything in carefully with your fingers and massage it in.

And now pay attention. Weaker constitutions might be surprised by the power of Doping, but you really need to get the skin properly flushed, so this will sting a bit. Don't be a wimp, grit your teeth and hold on. Beauty requires suffering! But this self-torment is essentially a nice bit of relaxation and you'll soon get a taste for it.

Want maximum results? You don't need to slather half a bottle of Doping on yourself at once – the magic is in regularity. So if you're willing to dope your beard and moustache 4 times a day, reduce the doses slightly and go for it. You can trim your beard down to 1 mm with clippers if it gets in the way of application, but it's not necessary. Definitely don't shave it clean though, so you don't cut off the little ones that are just starting to hatch thanks to Doping.

One pump of Doping dispenses 0.1 ml. The smaller bottle has 30 ml, the larger one 100 ml, so you've got a supply of approximately 300/1,000 pumps, which at 6 pumps morning and 6 evening will last you 25/83 days. And if you're combining Doping with any other products, dope first and wait at least 10 minutes before applying anything else to your beard.

PRO TIP: To get every last drop of Doping out, you can add a little water to the bottle at the end, shake it and quickly use up the remaining product from the walls and the dispenser tube.
