These filters transmit only 8 to 18% of visible light, ensuring eye protection against glare and the harmful effects of solar radiation.

Mono Jr. sunglasses are of course equipped with filters to suppress UVA, UVB and UVC radiation. These filters, designated as UV 400, provide complete protection against ultraviolet radiation. UVA radiation can penetrate deep into the skin and cause premature ageing, whilst UVB radiation is the main cause of sunburn.
