Merino wool

Merino wool is a natural and soft material that has versatile uses and possesses exceptional properties. The wool is obtained from specially bred sheep that live in cold and humid regions of New Zealand and Australia. These sheep have wool fibers three times finer than human hair, are highly breathable and respond to temperature changes. The advantage of wool is that it naturally adapts to the human body, which can be warmed or cooled in any weather. Merino wool is also antibacterial, does not smell even with prolonged wear, is fire-resistant, and although it is wool, it does not scratch the skin. The wool is breathable thanks to its irregular fiber surface structure. An interesting fact about this material is that wool provides its wearer with natural protection against UV radiation, unlike other synthetic fibers. Merino wool is most commonly used in clothing or blankets (hats, scarves, sweaters, coats, socks, blankets, etc.).
