Robust yet compact water filter LIFESAVER WAYFARER removes 99.99% of all bacteria and viruses from water reliably. At the same time, it dramatically reduces the content of heavy metals, chemicals and microplastics in it.
This allows you to drink from natural water sources on your travels with complete peace of mind. Thanks to Failsafe™ technology, the system automatically blocks itself once it reaches the end of its lifespan and thus does not endanger the user.

LIFESAVER WAYFARER water filter was developed on the basis of 15 years of LIFESAVER's experience with water filtration. The product therefore also complies with the strictest NSF/ANSI P231 standards.

Purifies up to 5,000 litres of water - The device can purify up to 5,000 litres and can thus serve a traveller on a daily basis for up to 8.5 years.

Prefilters 1.4 l of water per minute - Requires no lengthy waiting.

LIFESAVER technology is based on a two-stage filtration system:
First, natural water is forced through a hollow fibre ultrafiltration unit by hand pump, which removes all bacteria, viruses, microplastics and particles larger than 0.015 µm (micron) = 15 nm nanometres from the water.

WARNING! Competing filtration systems cannot filter particles with a diameter smaller than 0.1 µm (micron), that is 100 nm (nanometres). The diameter of viral particles in clinically significant viruses ranges from only 16 – 18 nm (parvoviruses, circoviruses) to 300 nm. The LIFESAVER filter therefore has many times greater quality and filtration efficiency -
In the second stage, water flows through an activated charcoal filter, which removes chemicals and heavy metals (chlorine, lead, nickel, cadmium and so on), thereby significantly improving its taste and odour.
